New Me

For a long time, I was away
I couldn't live a single day
A long time since I just enjoyed
The things around me... I avoid

Feeling that my work is now done
And just sleep underneath the sun
It's been a while since I felt free
To do something that's just for me

But now, I have found peace again
In truth,I feel like a free man
I know I'm safe, I'll be okay
From now on I'll live every day

A path's opened in front of me
To take me where I want to be
I now know that there is a place
For me, I finally have a face
