I'm counting heartbeats since you're gone
Although I knew this day would come
There is no me when you're not here
I loose my mind when you're not near

Who knew I would miss you so much
I miss your smile, I miss you're touch
I miss your eyes, I miss your kiss
I can't take any more of this

Sometimes I wish I could just run
Just take the car keys and be gone
Drive madly through the cold of night
To get to you and hold you tight

'Cause every night I dream of you
And hope that one of them comes true
Steal you from wherever you are
No place, sweet girl, would be too far

Sometimes I wish I'd fall asleep
And wake up when all this is done
To hold you in my arms and keep

I keep on going through the day
Knowing that 'though you're far away

With clearly no functions
Can say so much shit
Not fun to play with

One little misplace
One word with no trace
Can do so much harm
That's clearly no charm

So don't believe words
Cause they cut like swords
Just look for the facts
Cause lies are just acts

Some things are just too much
Or way out of control
Things that are out of touch
Can make one give up all

Crossroads

Decisions fill life's narrow path
And we can only make sure that
When we are at crossroads once more
We'll take the road that seems less sure

For wrong decisions may seem right
But at the end there is no light
So choose wisely my little boy
As life is not some little toy

One may be sweet while one may sting
One shall take all that one should bring
But when one's gonna take your heart
The'ntire world shall fall apart

Then you look back onto the world
When everything around you's cold
And think of what it would have been
Another path if you've had seen

But all this is not set in stone
You can go back and change your way
A new path you will then be shown
For you to start a brand new day

Changes

A warrior trapped on enemy ground
Never to be heard from, never to be found
One flair still burns strong deep inside his soul
One thought motivates him to achieve his goal

Somewhere back home, his love waits for him
Fear of losing her haunts his every dream
So he fights each battle as it's the last one
And fearing his rage the enemies run

Curious how fear can make one fearless
How caring for someone can make you careless
Your future's decided by things of the past
The first memory of her can then be the last

Being the last survivor he hides in the woods
Where he has to fight nature's crazy moods
An abandoned cottage rests him for the night
But he's to be ambushed by next morning's light

An angel of war with a bow in her hand
Ready to attack, before him would stand
Taken by surprise, the man sits there still
Both scared and confused... "Wow, is she for real?"

A couple of days pass and he finds that she
Was the long lost daughter of a king to be
A princess he had found, one so beautiful
That he had forgotten what was waiting home

War turned him around, he's another man
From now on he's no more a soldier of Rome
He'd fallen in love and never again
Was he to go back to what was once "home"

Stupidity

It's only life, so don't despair
If stupidness is everywhere
If some can be so freaking low
They just have nothing else to show

Rats, lizards, mice, ugly ass bugs
In the subway, under the rugs
They're all nothing compared to those
That bounce their heads into brick walls

Incompetence is here to stay
But hey... just take it as a bluff
It's pitiful in every way
Still... look at them and have a laugh
